I have spent more than forty years listening to what people say and paying even closer attention to what they don’t. I hear what sits underneath the story, often before the person telling it is ready to say it out loud. It is not something I learned in a certification program. It is simply the way I have always moved through the world.
My own life has never followed a straight or particularly sensible path. I have reinvented myself more times than I ever expected to. Some choices changed everything. Others I would never make again. I know what it feels like to look around at a life you created and realize you no longer belong inside it. I also know that telling yourself the truth is usually where your life begins to become your own again.
I am a mystic, but I am also deeply practical. I trust intuition, but I do not use it to avoid reality. I want to know what is true, even when it is inconvenient. I am not interested in making the truth prettier than it is. I am interested in what becomes possible once we are willing to face it.
For more than twenty years, I have also dressed women. I can see the more sensual woman or the woman ready to take up more room, sometimes before she can see her. I have watched a woman put on the right dress and recognize herself differently. That moment has never felt separate from my advisory work. Sometimes we meet another part of ourselves through a conversation. Sometimes we meet her in the mirror.
Sacred Wild holds all of it. The work, the clothing, the stories and the life I have lived. It is also a place to gather through retreats and consecrations that honor the moments when a life is ready to change.
